Apple trees, vines and lots of sunshine characterise the place in the middle of the Alps that bears the name of South Tyrol and is one of the largest fruit-growing regions in Europe. It is right there, in the heart of this sensational and legendary landscape, that our family business IPRONA has been based since 1981.

Trento is located between the Dolomites to the north and the famous Lake Garda to the south.
iprona Trento has been active in the international food industry since 1961 and is a leading supplier in the fruit processing sector, specialising in drinks and baby food.

iprona Lieboch (formerly Beerenfrost Kühlhaus GmbH) was founded in 1993 in cooperation with the Steirische Beerenobstgenossenschaft.
Since then, the main activity has been Styrian elderberries, which are stored and processed in Lieboch.

The headquarters and production plant in Güssing, founded in 2006, are located in the centre of Europe's largest elderberry-growing region. The town of Güssing in Burgenland is known throughout the world as the first completely energy self-sufficient town.
